This is the first that I am hearing of burdock root – sounds like a good thing to have around the house. I had never heard of Starwest Botanicals – I typically buy from Mountain Rose Herbs. I will have to remember to check them out before my next purchase. Would burdock root work on sunburn? If so, how would I apply it?

Hey I’ve heard good things about Mountain Rose Herbs, Starwest is just my personal favorite because of their large selection and experience. And it can absolutely help with sun burns and you will need to make a salve or poultice. You can also buy a liniment. This was full of wonderful and useful information. I had no idea bout this type of root either. Nor did I realize what its properties and uses are. Good to know though about this type of root and what you can do with it, thanks to that information you provided. Also glad I do not have to find a reputable company to buy this as you already recommended one.

These rundowns are very informative. I’ve never heard of Burdock root or it’s nicknames and now I feel I’m an expert on it lol. Seems like a good herb to have around for natural healing solutions.
One thing I have a question about is the medical use of removing unwanted hair. How does that work? Do you rub it on the skin where you want the hair removed?

You’ll want to make a liniment or buy it in liquid form and put it on the spot you want to remove hair, then shave. It’s a great little herb and you should absolutely have it around the house. Thanks for commenting!
