Description and Uses: Just like uva-ursi it is really useful in kidney disease and helpful in mucous and pus in the bladder and intestines. For mucous discharges it can be combined equal parts with goldenseal with excellent results.

It has many uses and can be used internally and externally. It can be used as a rinse for sores in your mouth and bleeding gums. Also, it’s excellent in hemorrhaging, bleeding wounds, nosebleeds, and profuse menstruation. It can relieve hemorrhoids and piles too.

Make sure to give yourself some breaks after prolonged use. Generally you can steep a heaping teaspoonful in a cup of boiling water for thirty minutes. Drink 1 to 2 cupfuls a day, a large mouthful at a time. Children should drink less according to age.

Yarrow (Achillea millefolium)

Peach (Amygdalus persica)
